The Letter That Never Came

He left her shortly before Christmas. He promised to return for her if he took an assignment in another country. He told her that she would go with him.

He never came back. He never wrote to her. He never called her. He vanished from her life.

She kept his things for quite a while. She cried herself to sleep each night wondering what had gone wrong. She needed to know how he could leave without telling her that he was going alone.

She didn’t like secrets. She didn’t like looking at his clothes in her closet. She didn’t like having her heart broken by someone she loved.

Her friends were there to help her. Her friends fed her each day. Her friends didn’t let a day go by without someone spending time with her. Her friends feared for her sanity, but not as much as she feared for it herself.

The day came. The day her strength returned. The day she had waited for months to arrive, and there it was … the letter that never came.

There it was in her mailbox, and there is stayed until she did what she needed to do.

Before she read the letter, she tossed out every trace of his existence.

Before she read the letter, she made certain his scent was removed from her closet and from her memory.

Before she read the letter, she made certain she knew her truth.

Then, and only then, did she read the letter …
… the letter that never came until it was too late.

Joe’s Watch, an Arsenal, and Joe’s Broken Promise … Say Their Names

Thirteen times the narcissist, Joe Biden, looked at his watch. According to reports from parents who were there, Joe wanted to talk about his son rather than their children who just gave up their lives in Afghanistan.

In addition to an airbase, just a few of the things Joe Biden turned over to the Taliban.

Broken Hearts

Each time I read about one of our servicemen killed in Afghanistan this week, I cry all over again.

I can’t imagine the agony their families are going through … their sorrow and their pain.

None of this had to happen. No one should have lost their life. No one should have been hurt.

I blame Joe Biden and his generals. They are the ones with blood on their hands, and in my humble opinion, every last one of them should be forced to resign.

In seven months, Joe Biden has caused more damage to our country and the lives of Americans than any president in history (except for Jimmy Carter).

I know this sounds harsh, but there are nights when I go to bed that I pray Joe Biden will be gone come morning. That’s a terrible thing to say, but it’s true.

People say Kamala Harris would be much worse. How does it get any worse than 13 American flag-draped coffins and numerous servicemen in hospitals right now. That’s not a question.

Come 2022, the Republicans will have a chance to regain Congress. They better not screw it up. This could be our last chance to save America before the demise of America as we know her.

God help us all.
